Den sista veckan har det varit fullt upp med arbete för att färdigställa grunden till de 2 resterande husen (hus A och B).

Efter att ha gjutit en grund muras cementblock upp för att ge extra stabilitet där det sedan ska finnas väggar. Efter detta packas en blandning av moram, jord och vatten runt de murade cementblocken. Allt görs för hand och moramblandningen packas genom att man hjälps åt att stöta pålar ner i massan.

Medan arbetet pågått för fullt på arbetsplatsen har vi volontärer och Caroline varit iväg och köpt material till gjutningen av plattan som ska påbörjas nästa vecka. Materialet (cement, armering, vatten, sand, virke osv.) ska köpas in, man ska förhandla om priser och virket vi köpt ska dessutom hyvlas innan det levereras. Något som är svårt då det varit elavbrott från och till hela veckan.

Då regnperioden verkar komma tidigare i år är det viktigt att man jobbar på så fort som möjligt. Chop! Chop!

Den här veckan har vi dessutom fått 2 nya volontärer till arbetsplatsen! Klara Nordqvist och Johanna Gidlöf som ska vara på plats i 4 veckor. De studerar båda Informationsdesign- Rumslig gestaltning på Mälardalens högskola.
